My wife and I strive to maintain a safe and rider friendly facility with consistently excellent footing in all arenas. Based on "pincher dobby"'s anonymous review (apparently done during or immediately prior to our March 2016 competition), I can only assume this anonymous person had a very limited perception of the facility and personnel. During this time "the owners" were fully engaged in footing management due to excessive rain - this to ensure safety and quality footing even in adverse conditions. If "pincer dobby" had approached one of the owners with a specific complaint I'm sure it would have been rectified immediately to their satisfaction. The trainer in question is a highly trained and talented rider but, as erroneously and anonymously reported, he is not in the employ of Yarra Yarra and is not "their (our) trainer." Ultimately, social media gives all and sundry a blank wall to spew graffiti as they see fit as they do not have the personal fortitude to address issues personally and openly. We've been in the business of providing excellent services and facilities for horses and riders for over 30 years. We consistently receive top facility reviews from USEF officials. I do not usually respond to anonymous blather but in this case I will make an exception and welcome any and all open comments from those willing to engage me personally and not hide behind a mask.
