    The Castleridge trail head is now open. The trail from Old Foothill to the ridge is 1.98 miles. The initial trail is open and a straight forward climb, but it quickly becomes shaded and quite nice. I had to turn around early today, but I am looking forward to getting to the ridge and taking the trails that head north.
